Key Tips for Playing Flow Serpent
🎯 Skill Usage – Rise to the Skies!
As a marksman, the Flow Serpent has the potential to become the highest damage dealer in the match. To achieve that, you must understand the best combat options and how to outplay your opponents.
Basic Attack
If your enhanced basic attack hits an enemy while used without a direct target, its visual effect changes. This makes it perfect for scouting bushes and revealing hidden enemies.
First Skill
Use your first skill wisely, preferably near allies, to gain more Flow and health regeneration.
Second Skill
Your second skill cannot be used without a target, but it can target minions and monsters for movement. This is extremely useful for escaping dangerous fights or chasing enemies.
Ultimate
Make full use of your other abilities while casting your Ultimate. You can also use Skill 2 to interrupt your Ultimate early, allowing for a safer escape or reposition.

🎯 Offensive Strategy – Truth Through Battle!
Flow Serpent excels at applying lane pressure. During the early game, focus on farming efficiently, pushing your lane, looking for kill opportunities, and destroying enemy towers.
Taking down the first tower quickly gives you more freedom to rotate across the map, switch lanes, and improve your farm.
In the mid game, choose upgrades like Piercing Heart or Acceleration to improve your teamfight potential. Stay close to allies while using Skill 1 to increase your Flow and maximize your damage output for securing kills.
In the late game, precision and positioning become critical. Stay cautious when entering fights and maintain awareness of your surroundings. Build Flow alongside your frontline allies to strengthen your enhanced basic attacks, reposition with Skill 2 to hit multiple targets, and finish enemies using your Ultimate.
🎯 Damage and Survivability – Nice Try Defeating Me!
Use Skill 1 to build Flow and increase the damage of your enhanced basic attacks.
With Skill 2, move fluidly through fights, outmaneuver enemies, and chase down kills. Your Ultimate should be used both as a finisher and as a source of heavy long-range damage.
Since your damage output is relatively weak in the early game due to incomplete items and long cooldowns, focus heavily on farming to overcome this vulnerable stage.
Choose your enhancement effects carefully before leaving base. Prioritize damage-focused upgrades that best fit the current match conditions.
Pay close attention to the enemy team composition to improve your survivability, and always monitor your cooldowns — especially Skill 2, which is essential for repositioning safely around the battlefield.
Your item choices should also adapt throughout the match:
- Against tank-heavy compositions that struggle to reach your backline, prioritize critical damage builds.
- Against teams with aggressive tanks capable of diving your backline easily, consider building more magic-damage-focused options for safer and more flexible damage output.
🎯 Strengths and Weaknesses
✅ Strengths
Flow Serpent performs exceptionally well with protective supports and heroes who provide pulls or knockbacks, such as Zhang Fei, Yaria, and Guiguzi.
The class is also highly effective against enemies with low burst damage, such as Di Renjie, since it can easily outmaneuver their attacks.
❌ Weaknesses
Flow Serpent struggles against enemies with powerful mobility and heavy burst damage, such as Huang Zhong and Prince of Lanling.
