Honor of Kings turned two this week, and it did not celebrate quietly. On 17 June 2026 the global version rolled out HoK Plus 2.0, which Level Infinite and TiMi are calling the most comprehensive update the game will get this year.
There is a lot packed into it: a brand-new Clash Lane hero, three familiar faces from Arena of Valor, a player-driven economy, a reworked fun mode and a month-long reward calendar. If you have only logged in to see a new lobby and a pile of vouchers, here is everything that actually changed and what is still coming.
⚡ Devara Takes Over the Clash Lane
The headline addition is Devara, a new hero inspired by Indian culture and mythology. He fights with thunder, and the developers describe two sides to his play: a Burst Fighter who deals heavy burst and keeps up sustained damage in long fights, and a Thunder Wizard who does his best work face to face.

He is a permanent hero you can unlock for 13,888 Gold or 588 Tokens, and he is half price during his first week, so this is the cheapest he is going to be for a while.
Players who know the Chinese version of the game will feel right at home. Devara is built on the same core mechanics as a long-standing thunder fighter from that version, with a younger, fully redesigned look, golden lightning effects and a story set in the Azuria Archipelago. Expect a hero who weaves basic attacks between skills, stacks up energy for extra casts and turns into something much scarier when his ultimate is up.
🗡️ Three Arena of Valor Heroes Join Matchmaking
Devara is not alone. Three iconic heroes from Arena of Valor have joined the matchmaking roster:
- Annette – Support, a wind-based protector built around area control and repositioning
- Lorion – Mage, a dark-magic caster who uses orbs for poke, burst and crowd control
- Florentino – Fighter, the flower-blade duelist who lives for one-on-one fights and quick dashes
For anyone who played Arena of Valor, this is the most direct crossover the two games have ever had. For everyone else, it is three new kits to learn and three new threats to read in draft.
💰 Grand Venture: A Player-Driven Economy
The biggest system change is Grand Venture, a new economy that rewards you for simply being active. It works in four steps:
- Play and complete daily activities to earn reward items
- Sell or auction those items in the new Consignment Shop
- Collect Exchange Tokens every time a trade goes through
- Spend those tokens on special rewards and rare items
In other words, items you do not need are no longer dead weight. Somebody else may want them, and you get something back.
🛠️ Quality-of-Life Changes
A large part of Plus 2.0 is about making the game smoother on every phone, from budget devices to flagships. The main improvements:
- Smaller download and fewer redundant downloads
- A chapter-based guide for new players with clearer progression goals
- Refined in-match controls, better visuals and performance optimization
- A lobby upgrade and a new Personal Gallery
Pre-launch previews also promised smoother combos and animations for more than 90 existing heroes, with Diaochan, Xiao Qiao and Xiang Yu named among those whose skill chains should now feel cleaner, and bigger updates for Li Xin and Sima Yi. If a hero you main suddenly feels a little different, this is why.
🔥 Super Flow Brawl 2.0 Arrives on 27 June
The chaotic fun mode is coming back in a new form. From 27 June, Super Flow Brawl 2.0 opens new major talent paths that you can freely mix and match during a match. The talents come out of a community co-creation campaign, so some of the wildest ideas in the mode were designed by players themselves.
🎁 Peak Day Rewards: Dates to Remember
The update kicks off a celebration that runs from 17 June to 26 July, built around Peak Day on 27 June. Mark these dates:
- 17–28 June: daily check-in for Consignment Shop boxes
- From 17 June: claim 1,688 Token Vouchers, which become redeemable on 27 June for permanent direct-sale skins, including Kaizer – Annihilator
- 27–28 June: log in for a free co-created Flowborn skin plus 1,000 limited-time Token Vouchers
- 27–28 June: the Mega Red Packet Rain event
- 27 June – 3 July: every hero and skin released up to 17 June is free to use
- 27 June – 26 July: partner events with extra limited-time vouchers
According to the developers, you can collect rewards worth up to 4,000 Token Vouchers on Peak Day alone and more than 10,000 across the whole event. Our tip: claim your 1,688 vouchers now so you do not forget, then use the free week from 27 June to test heroes before you spend anything.
🎬 Creators and Esports
Content creators got their own boost. Since 1 June, HOK Studio competitions rank creators by region instead of globally, top performers can earn up to 20,000 extra Tokens on top of their monthly rewards, and the HOK Advanced Creator Program is now open in every region.
On the competitive side, the 2026 Asian Games Esports Qualifiers for Honor of Kings are underway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, until 21 June. Twenty teams are fighting for places at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, where they will join China, Malaysia and Thailand, who qualified directly.
💡 Final Thoughts
HoK Plus 2.0 feels like a proper second-birthday update: one exciting new hero, three crossover picks, an economy that finally gives your spare items some value and a reward calendar generous enough to keep everyone logging in. Pick up Devara while he is discounted, grab your vouchers, and get ready for Peak Day on 27 June.
